In almost all issues and subjects pertaining to life, kernels of truth are mixed in with barrels of chaff. Chaff consists primarily of non-pertinent information or details that may be interesting, but are useless and even detrimental in perceiving or understanding a subject or situation. This is especially true when there is a lot of chaff present on any given subject. The kernels are the meat of the matter, and what needs to be understood so the situation being discussed can be dealt with properly.

Unfortunately, most humans have an extremely difficult time separating the seemingly rare grains of truth from the cornucopia of chaff (which often just obscures these vital grains from being perceived or weighed). When people focus on the chaff and give it the same weight and value as the actual kernels of wheat… that is when issues get muddy and hard to pin down or resolve.
This site is dedicated to attempting the impossible… separating buckets of wheat from bales of chaff on a myriad of subjects. Welcome to the grain bin.
